30-year-old aircraft engineer Brian Tan said his Comfort cabby got too comfortable for his liking on April 2.
"He was shoeless, all ten toes were showing and he did not appear to have any footwear around. Socks would have helped," Brian said.
"He looked really sloppy. The taxi has a distinctive smell and it was certainly not fragrant. The driver looked as if he had stayed in the cab for days," he added.
Brian said he boarded the taxi at the Changi airfreight centre to go to Ubi Avenue to collect his car.
"I was sure he was on his way to Changi Airport if he had not picked me up. That's not the image we want to show our visitors," Brian told STOMP.
